Love at First Sight with Medium

~A short journey ~

There was a time when my days felt dull, and I found myself constantly scrolling through social media, wasting endless hours and battling boredom. However, amidst the monotony, I owe a big thanks to social media for introducing me to a delightful medium.

One day, while scrolling as usual, someone suggested trying out Medium as a platform for writers. That was the moment I fell in love with it. I vividly recall the first time I started writing on November 22. Since then, writing became an irresistible urge whenever I had some free time.

I gradually distanced myself from other social media platforms and devoted my attention to Medium. Opening my mobile now means checking how many claps I received, how many followers I gained, and if any seasoned writers provided writing suggestions.

To deepen my connection with Medium, I immersed myself in reading articles, stories, and poems from various writers. The platform has shared countless stories, and in return, I've shared mine. This mutual sharing has not only continued but flourished.

Medium, for me, is a medley of emotions—laughter, tears, sadness, happiness, and encouragement. It has given me the courage to be myself and assured me, "I will be by your side, however you like."

As my journey with Medium progressed, I realized the importance of having a publication to showcase my writings. Unfortunately, finding the right publication proved to be a challenge. Despite this, my two-month journey with Medium has been enriching.

I am aware that there is much knowledge to gain, patience to practice, and competition to face on this platform. Nevertheless, I am committed to Medium, and I have no intention of leaving. Here's to the continuing journey with my beloved Medium.
